With over 500 bikes in the warehouse, we always have something to work on! We provide all the tools and have skilled bicycle mechanics on hand to help you out. All skill levels, ages, and abilities are welcome. You are welcome to come help out for an hour or the whole session, whatever works for you. Please dress for the outdoor temperatures, wear closed-toe shoes, and expect to get a little dirty. Social distancing and masks required.
We ask that volunteers sign up via our online forms beforehand so we can prepare adequately. Make sure you’re subscribed to our weekly newsletter– it always has links to the sign-up forms and additional information about volunteer sessions and upcoming events!
Reoccurring Volunteer Opportunities:
- Thursdays Evenings from 4 pm – 8 pm. You don’t have to be a bike repair wizard to come help, but it’s great if you are! Usually, we focus on fixing bikes or stripping bikes for parts to use to repair bikes for Change a Tire, Change a Life, Free Bikes for Kids, and our Bicycle Thrift Store. Sometimes we’ll be working on reorganizing the shop, processing tubes, or sorting parts. Sign up for this Thursday here!
- Socially Distanced Saturdays at the Shop from 9 am – 1 pm. We might be working on construction projects, moving bicycles, cleaning, or maybe even scrapping old bikes for parts. Sign for this Saturday up here!
Events around town:
Pop-up repair days – last Saturday of every month at One80Place.**Temporarily suspended
We have other opportunities for volunteering depending on your skills and abilities. Contact Us for more info on how you can help.
