We think that every child in our community should be able to experience the magic of owning a bicycle, which is why we host two Free Bikes For Kids giveaways every year, once in the spring and once around the holidays. If you have a youth bike you’re interested in donating, please text us a photo of it before dropping it off (843.608.8383).
In 2021, we partnered with Closet of Hope, Charleston Hispanic Association, and other organizations in our community to distribute 341 free bikes to kids in need! In 2022, we put smiles on 150 children’s faces with free bikes. This past year, we focused more on our big move and distributing and repairing bikes for adults, but we still managed to make sure that close to 100 kids got some new wheels!
Want to help us fix up bikes for kids in need? You don’t have to be a bike mechanic, we promise. But if you want to learn some mechanic skills, we got you covered. Come volunteer with us!
Don’t have time to volunteer? You can still support our work and help get bikes to children in need by making a donation. Every dollar helps!
